Private Pilot Licence Course

Selected students from the AEP will progress on to the PPL Course. The PPL Course consists of the Ab Initio Phase, the Solo Phase and the Wings Phase.

During the Ab Initio Phase, students will learn the basics of operating an aircraft. Those who perform well will progress to the Solo Phase where they will learn how to take-off and land an aircraft. Students who pass the check flight at the end of the Solo Phase will proceed for 1st Solo, where they will fly all by themselves without an instructor on board.

The Wings phase will teach students more advanced manoeuvres and prepare them for the Final Handling Test. Students need to pass 7 CAAS papers and the Final Handling Test administered by CAAS before attaining the Restricted PPL.
